About Our Products

Every AlohaKarve piece is approximately 0.75 inches thick — large enough to anchor a wall, compact enough to fit virtually any space. Each piece is individually sized; see the product listing for exact dimensions.

We work exclusively with three premium hardwoods: Teak (warm golden-brown, excellent durability), Walnut (rich chocolate tones, tight grain), and Oak (light and airy, classic grain pattern). Each species is listed on the individual product listing. We never use MDF, plywood, or composite materials.

Yes. Every piece ships with a pre-installed French cleat on the back, allowing for easy, level wall mounting with a single screw. No additional hardware is required beyond a standard wall screw or nail.

The carving design will be identical, but because we use natural hardwood, each panel has its own unique grain pattern, color variation, and character. No two pieces are exactly alike — this is a feature, not a flaw. Product images are for design reference only and are not to scale.

We occasionally accept custom commissions for special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, or corporate gifts. Please reach out via our Contact page with your idea and we will let you know if it is feasible within our current schedule.

Ordering & Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and AlohaKarve Gift Cards. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe.

Yes. Enter your gift card code in the discount/gift card field at checkout. Gift cards never expire and can be combined with promotional codes. You can purchase gift cards on our Gift Cards page.

Orders may be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided production has not yet begun. After 24 hours, we cannot guarantee changes. Please contact us immediately at our contact page or email hello@alohakarve.com if you need to make a change.

Shipping

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Domestic delivery (within the contiguous USA) takes an additional 3–7 business days via UPS Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout. For full details, visit our Shipping page.

At this time we ship within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. International shipping is something we are actively working toward. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when it becomes available.

Yes. All orders are fully insured during transit. In the unlikely event that your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Returns & Care

We offer a 30-day return window on all standard pieces. Items must be in original, undamaged condition. Custom orders are non-refundable. For full details, please visit our Returns page.

Our pieces are finished with a natural penetrating oil that protects the wood and enhances the grain. To maintain your carving:

  • Dust occasionally with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade the wood over time.
  • Keep away from high-humidity environments such as bathrooms or unconditioned spaces.
  • Re-apply a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax once a year to keep the wood nourished.
